We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ConstructionProject Manager in our Sydney, Brisbane or Perth office to oversee our diverseportfolio of construction and civil infrastructure projects. The successfulcandidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executingprojects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time,within budget to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor the plans, designs andoverseeing the running of large civil and mining infrastructure projects. creating and defining projectgoals and objectives through project planning and scheduling analysing each phase of projectsto determine budgets by studying engineering drawings and plans to detail costsand estimates. tracking project costs andensuring implementation stays within predicted estimates including materialcosts and detailed programs for site activities. estimating the project timelineand making sure teams adhere to delivery dates. managing the human and capitalresources of a project to ensure timely delivery. ensuring the project has adequatestaff to complete each stage on schedule. preparing and presenting internaland external project reports for stakeholders providing comprehensive projectdata to teams to help them work more effectively. Project Planning and Management:Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resourceallocation. Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and withinbudget. Team Leadership: Lead and managethe project team, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and labourers.Foster a collaborative and productive team environment. Budget Management: Monitorproject budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective procurement ofmaterials and services. Prepare and present regular financial reports. Quality Control: Implement andmaintain quality control procedures to ensure all work meets or exceedsindustry standards and client expectations. Risk Management: Identifypotential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliancewith all safety regulations and standards. Client Communication: Serve asthe primary point of contact for clients. Provide regular updates on projectprogress, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction. Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders,and progress reports. Ensure all regulatory and compliance documentation is upto date. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in ConstructionManagement, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 18 years ofexperience in construction project management. Proven track record of managinglarge-scale construction projects from start to finish. Strong knowledge of constructionprocesses, materials, and legal regulations. Excellent leadership,communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project managementsoftware (e.g., MS Project, Procore, AutoCAD). PMP, CCM, or equivalentcertification is preferred. Primavera 6, ASTA ideally MRICS, LLM, MCIARB would bebeneficial but not essential. Additional Benefits
