Due to our continued success and growth, we are currently recruiting an Electrician for Afternoon shift – This role is suited to somebody who has experience in Industrial Electrical work, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Details: Tingalpa location.
Afternoon Shift – Monday- Friday 2:30pm-10:30pm,
Full Time Permanent position.
Selection Process: Formal Interview – Site Tour and technical assessment – Online Assessment – Background and Pre-Employment Medical Checks – Decision.
Key responsibilities include: Perform trouble shooting, fault finding, PLC & VSD programming, planned preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance on our highly automated manufacturing site.
Instrumentation calibration and replacement.
Minor installations and commissioning work.
Complete documentation and reporting as required.
Requirements for the role: Electrical licence (QLD), ideally with a Certificate 4 in Automation.
Prior experience with trouble shooting, fault finding, automation/PLCs and control systems.
Prior experience working on instrumentation, pneumatics, hydraulics, robotics and machine safety systems.
Can work autonomously, communicate effectively, solve problems and prioritise work tasks.
Previous experience in food manufacturing is preferred.
