About the Role WorkPac have an opportunity for a Electrician with de watering experience to join the team at Rio Tinto.
The successful candidate will be experienced to perform routine statutory testing of a wide range of electrical equipment including reporting defects and propose suitable solutions/rectifications through work management system (SAP).
Duties & Responsibilities: Mine site De-watering equipment experience (bore management, pumps, poly welding) Perform complex troubleshooting, fault rectification duties, repairs, modifications and preventative maintenance procedures to meet the operational requirements of the specific location Service, inspection and breakdown repairs Inspection and repairs of compressors Equipment isolations Test and tagging Splicing submersible pumps and supply cables Installation of downhole bores, cables and equipment Generator set maintenance and fault finding Skills & Experience 2 years + experience working in a Mining environment WA Electrical License Current Australian ‘C’ manual class driver licence Perform CPR, Low Voltage Rescue and Apply First Aid Cert IV Electrical Instrumentation Electrical Fitter Trade Certificate HR Drivers Licence, High Risk Licence – WP (preferred) Confined Space, Working at Heights (preferred) Dogmans ticket, Fork lift (Preferred) AHS experience SAP experience Solar charging panels and systems About WorkPac WorkPac is Australia’s largest privately owned workforce services business with over 1.3 million registered candidates.
