ISS IS A PLACE TO BE YOU The Opportunity: An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced trade qualified Electrician to join our Resources Maintenance Team on a full-time 8 days on, 6 days off roster. Available as either Drive-In-Drive-Out from Broome or Derby, or Fly-In-Fly-Out from Perth , this presents a great opportunity for a Lifestyle Change in the magnificent West Kimberley.

The successful candidate should be ambitious, enjoy a challenge and have a strong electrical trade background including experience with the operation of facilities maintenance services for infrastructure at remote mine site locations. Salary: $120,000 superannuation Allowances Roster: 8 days on, 6 days off.

What we are looking for: Current electrical trade qualification for the Western Australia working environment. Current WA Unrestricted Electrical Licence Current C Class Driver’s Licence Previous experience providing maintenance services in a remote mining village environment is desirable.

Previous experience working with catering equipment, white goods and minor refrigeration maintenance repairs will be highly regarded. Previous experience inspecting and maintaining constant run power generators will be highly regarded.

Ability to work independently. Sound documentation and computer skills, experience using works management systems via mobile devices.

Forklift operator’s licence (desirable). Able to work a flexible DIDO roster from Broome or Derby or FIFO roster from Perth Airport.

Police Clearance or willing to obtain one and medically fit to pass Pre-employment medical. COVID 19 Vaccination Certificate outlining Full vaccination is required.

As a service provider, ISS must comply with all public health directives and client requirements. Medical exemptions will apply.

Superannuation paid on your full Salary Additional allowance of $7,500 per Annum, if appointed as an Electrical Supervisor (Section 44 Statutory Appointment) and/or Electrical Nominee Plus, On Call, Call Out and Tool Allowances. All meals and accommodation provided whilst on site Full Uniform provided.

Relocation allowance and accommodation assistance will be considered for candidates willing to relocate to Broome. Mental, financial and physical health support programs.

Ongoing support and training with opportunities to grow at a global company. Role Details: Responsible for maintaining remote village accommodation units, village dining and kitchen facilities, and ancillary buildings including wet mess, gym, retail outlets.

Repair and maintenance of single phase and 3 phase power, general lighting and power supply. Statutory testing and tagging of electrical appliances, both single phase and 3 phase.

Inspecting and maintaining constant run power generators Responsible for all electrical and statutory compliance on non-process infrastructure. Perform and manage preventative maintenance, fault finding and repairs on electrical infrastructure.

Investigation of electrical failures, analysis and recommendation for rectification. Undertake new minor electrical installations.

On-call requirements to attend to urgent requests at site outside of normal working hours. Responsibility for maintaining appropriate stock levels of parts and equipment to ensure the smooth supply to the electrical department.
