About the role The Plumber is responsible for efficient and cost effective plumbing installations, maintenance and minor / new works for the West Moreton Health District.
In this role you will organise and complete allocated plumbing and draining tasks including ensuring availability of materials, meeting deadlines and ensuring that required standards are met, including the provision of test certificates where required.
About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
Experience and knowledge relating to installation and maintenance management of plumbing and drainage in single and multi-storey buildings similar to large, major health care facilities. Ability to prioritise works, projects, timeframes and manage costs, make responsible and accurate recommendations and produce an effective work output in terms of both quality and quantity without supervision. Ability to manage and coordinate major equipment installation and/or refurbishment projects. Ability to work effectively and safely as a member of a team or individually, and experience managing service contractors and/or interacting, communicating and negotiating effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to effectively investigate problems, provide options and implement suitable solutions. Mandatory Requirements: Possession of a Queensland recognised Plumbing & Drainage trade qualification and QBCC licence to operate in Queensland.
