We are BMF Builders, a premium construction business that delivers innovative design and building solutions across the industrial, commercial and residential sectors in Victoria.
Since 1975 BMF has proudly worked with a range of clients including public companies, municipal and state authorities. Projects have included industrial warehousing, food processing facilities, engineering plants, recycling facilities, commercial offices, residential developments and fit-outs.
Based in South Melbourne, we are looking for an experienced, diligent and personable Project Manager to join our small team.

The role is full-time and reports to our Managing Director.
Your Role Your role will be to ensure that projects are delivered safely, to specification, on time and on budget.In order to achieve these goals, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Project Planning : Review project permits, drawings, plans and specifications to develop a thorough understanding of all materials, labour and timelines required to successfully complete the project.
2.

Compliance : Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, contractual and quality standards
3. Quality Control : Implementing strict quality control measures throughout the project to ensure the highest standards are met.

Conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues promptly.
4. Budget Management : Monitoring project finances, tracking expenditures, and managing cost-control strategies to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
5.

Risk Management : Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation plans to avoid any project delays or budget overruns.
6. Client Relations : Building and maintaining good relationships with clients, understanding their needs, managing expectations and providing regular project updates.

Addressing any concerns or changes efficiently and professionally.
Candidate Attributes The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
• Preferred 5+ years of Project Management experience working in the construction industry.
• Experience with construction software essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Project.
